Brewers
This is the page most readers want first, and the one the research directory can least provide: breweries appear across the grain pages scattered by the grain they use, and the people inside them almost never appear at all. Collected in one place, the roster answers questions no single grain page can — which grains gluten-free brewing actually runs on, who is dedicated versus who runs a line beside barley, and who has closed.

How to read it — entry rules, and what a listing means
Two kinds of entry. Where a brewery is already described in the research directory, this page carries a pointer — name, role, subjects touched, link to the page that owns the description. Where they are not, this page carries the entry itself. Nothing is described in two places.
Organizations sit inside the role they perform. A brewery belongs here alongside the brewers who run it.
Described, never endorsed. A listing is a map reference, not a recommendation, and implies no relationship with this site. Gluten-free status is reported as the brewery states it — this site does not test beer, and dedicated and gluten-reduced are not the same thing.
What qualifies. A public-facing brewery, commercial offering, or documented body of work. Homebrewers are listed only through what they have publicly published or founded, never as private individuals.
