This is the newest and least-built part of the section, and the page says so rather than pretending otherwise. What exists today is a map of where the conversation already lives; what comes later is a place for it here.
Where the conversation happens now — the rooms that already exist
The rooms this site has documented so far — a gluten-free homebrew club and its wiki, a brewing guild's chat server, the gluten-free forum on the largest homebrew board, and the homebrewing conference — are described on Homebrewers & Home Maltsters, which owns those entries.
Rooms beyond the homebrew layer — commercial, research, and patient communities — are not yet mapped. These are other people's rooms; listing one is a map reference, not an endorsement, and none of them are moderated by us.
Ask a question — how to reach us, and what we can answer
Not yet written. the honest version of "contact us": what kinds of question get a useful answer here, what we cannot answer (anything medical), and how long a reply takes.*
Open questions worth arguing about — the things we do not know
Not yet written. a route into the research asks and the gaps sections of the directory. The conversation this site most wants is about the things nobody has answered: enzyme doses, the 190°F baseline, cultivar screening, lot-level variation.*
How discussion works here — moderation, safety, and the rules of the room
Not yet written. to be written before any room opens, not after. On a site whose readers include people for whom a mistake is a medical event, moderation is a safety function: this section needs its rules, its disclaimer framing, and its correction path settled first.*
Section in draft. The sequencing is deliberate — a room nobody is in reads worse than no room at all, so the conversation gets a home here when there is demand evidence for one and the moderation framework exists to hold it.
